There are a couple of examples of Reseller re-branding on our web site, to view them click here...

However, if you wish to look at some more, let us know and we will send some URL's.

Introduction:

The reseller set-up and re-branding steps are set-out in the tutorials above. It should be a quick and painless experience at the end of which you will be able to give prospective end-users access to Web-edit via you totally re-branded browser.

When you want to enable an end-user to make their web site changes go Live, you will need the FTP details of their site. The details required are:

  1. FTP address
  2. FTP User ID
  3. FTP Root
  4. FTP password

The next step:

As a prospective reseller, you can go ahead and re-brand the Web-edit browser to give prospective end-users access to Web-edit via your web site. There is no charge and no financial obligation involved and you can do it all on-line.

This facility would not only give you the opportunity to get some market feedback, but also differentiate your site from your competitors. Your end-user customers could then visit your site and Try-Out Web-edit (via your re-branded browser) on their site.

Therefore, you can demo Web-edit and do some market research without cost or financial obligation.

If you have alreday registered you will have generated a User ID and a Password, which will give you access to the Reseller Control Centre where there is the re-branding section. Use the rest of the tutorial stages for guidance.

If you haven't yet, you will need to register to generate a User ID - which is usually your email address and a Password - which is your choice. There is a link to the Reseller Licence Agreement on our web site in the 'RESELLER' section under sub-section 'SET-UP'
